I’ve been running competitive CS2 on a 240 Hz IPS panel and I’ve been torn between the different motion-blur reduction modes. Right now I just have ULMB 2 on my ASUS, but I keep seeing pro configs using BenQ DyAc+ and I can’t tell if the difference is real or just hype. The problem is that when I crank up the strobing, the screen gets way too dark and I start losing track of enemies moving across open maps, but when I turn it off the moving targets look like a smear and my flicks feel sluggish.

Has anyone actually tested these side by side? Specifically I’m wondering about the pulse width stuff people talk about, whether DyAc+ at 240 Hz is even usable for long sessions, and what overdrive setting plays nice with it. My current ULMB 2 setup feels great in Aim Trainer but I’m not sure if I’m leaving accuracy on the table by not moving to DyAc+.
