New Missions, New Threats
The “Devoid of Liberty” update introduces a host of new objectives. Destroy Illuminate spires and gateways, conduct critical data reconnaissance, and infiltrate enemy structures alongside your squad.
New secondary objectives will also become available, from eradicating Void mutations to extracting vital materials for research. And for those seeking an even faster escape, you can now open a secondary extraction zone on the map, potentially evacuating your squad with greater speed.
As you push deeper into enemy territory, prepare to face new and horrifyingly mutated organisms. Intelligence reports indicate these abominations are emerging from the very heart of the Void – ghoulish creations spawned by the Illuminate scourge to crush our freedom.
Meet the Horrors: The Wretch & The Crusher
First up, we have the Wretch. This nimble creature moves with unsettling speed and can easily overwhelm weaker fighters. It’s a master of evasion, so don’t let it get the jump on you!
Then there’s the Crusher. This relentless behemoth is on a death march, capable of dishing out massive damage while also absorbing incredible amounts of punishment. Wear it down before it regenerates!
Enhanced Support & Community Challenges
You’re not alone in this fight! The “Devoid of Liberty” update introduces SEAF platoons to aid your operations. These brave soldiers will arrive on dropships, fighting alongside you and providing crucial medical support via stims. And for a morale boost, don’t forget to salute, shake hands, and – of course – hug them!
