According to reports, this new subpoena focuses on “one additional Discord user” and seeks further details regarding a previously identified user, along with more specific information about certain community servers. A footnote attached to the filing indicates that Take-Two’s investigation is “rapidly evolving and ongoing,” and emphasizes that the information sought in this latest subpoena differs from what was included in the initial request.
What’s particularly noteworthy is that the details of this new subpoena are currently sealed. A motion requesting the seal remain intact argues that the document doesn’t fall under the presumption of public access, and even if it did, Take-Two’s “countervailing interests” outweigh the public’s right to know.
