Star Wars: Galactic Racer has released and earned a solid reception, scoring 76 in PC Gamer’s review. As is customary with Star Wars video games, it is populated by memorable minor characters — none more so than Biddy Blas.
The creature has become such an online phenomenon that Lucasfilm Spel executive producer noted: “The algorithm continues to properly prioritize Mister Biddy Blas. I love it.”

Biddy Blas functions as a kind of “Glup Shitto” — a term used for obscure Star Wars background characters who unexpectedly become fan favourites, with the fake character serving as a symbolic stand-in for them.
The crocin is not the first of its species to appear in Star Wars; that distinction belongs to a creature featured in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Beyond their need to wear goggles — protecting sensitive eyes from harsh sunlight on their home planet, where they dwell in large caverns — little else is documented about the species.
Biddy Blas claims his fame was hard-earned through a supposed stint as a Huttball player and jatz trumpeter, insisting he already possesses intergalactic-level racing prowess. His combination of shrill voice, delusion, and appearance has propelled him toward all-timer Star Wars character status.
