Get ready to dive back into Midgar! Following today’s highly anticipated PlayStation State of Play”>PlayStation State of Play reveal, Steam has just dropped a bombshell: two brand-new downloadable content expansions for Final Fantasy VII Revelation are on the way, featuring none other than Sephiroth and Vincent Valentine. This news confirms that Square Enix is committed to expanding the story far beyond the initial release.
Sephiroth’s Return and More
The first DLC, simply titled “Sephiroth,” promises a deep dive into the iconic villain’s motivations and backstory. The second expansion, “Vincent and the Turks,” will undoubtedly explore Vincent’s mysterious past and his connection to the shadowy organization known as the Turks. Both expansions are slated for release sometime between Winter 2027 and April 2028, giving fans plenty of time to speculate and prepare.
The announcement comes on the heels of an extended look at Final Fantasy VII Revelation”>extended gameplay demo showcased during the State of Play. The demo offered a tantalizing glimpse into the game’s expansive open world, showcasing side missions in Yutai and Gongaga, engaging side activities like Queen’s Blood, and much more. Series producer Naoki Hamaguchi personally introduced the gameplay, highlighting the freedom and depth players can expect.

Square Enix has also unveiled the details for the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions of Final Fantasy VII Revelation. Both editions will include both DLC packs available on the Steam page. Here’s a breakdown:
