Joining MAR10 Day and other events such as Pokémon Day, is Pikmin Day! This will be an annual event every year on 1st November. Miyamoto explained how this came about:
Shigeru Miyamoto: “We’re going to start calling November 1st, Pikmin Day. In the first Pikmin game, released on Nintendo GameCube in 2001, the red, blue and yellow Pikmin made their debut. If you imagine those three Pikmin as the number one, that makes November 1st, Pikmin Day!”

Pikmin Bloom – Secret Caves update (Winter 2026)
The mobile title Pikmin Bloom is adding a new update called ‘Secret Caves’. It’s scheduled to arrive in “Winter 2026“. Players will collect treasure in the caves by defeating creatures.
Before you can venture in you’ll need a Cave Map, attached to postcards. When you’ve got your map, you can then send out Pikmin to explore the cave and battle creatures. Win the battle and you’ll get all sorts of treasures.
Additionally, there’ll be in-app cave maps you can unlock by taking exams in Pikmin 4 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy:
