Following in the footsteps of The Witcher 3, which was recently removed, CD Projekt Red’s futuristic RPG will be unavailable to Game Pass subscribers starting September 15th. Cyberpunk 2077 arrived on Game Pass back in March, suggesting a roughly six-month licensing agreement. While its departure is not entirely unexpected, it’s still disappointing news for fans eager to dive back into V’s story or experience the game for the first time without the full purchase price. Beyond Night City, several other notable games are also leaving Game Pass on September 15th, including Dead Cells, a roguelike action platformer known for its addictive gameplay loop, and Frostpunk 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the city-building survival game.
