Embrace the Fury: The Battle Yellow DualSense Controller
Among IGN readers, the most coveted item has been the Battle Yellow DualSense Wireless Controller. While preorders have vanished from some retailers, you can still snag this iconic controller at many locations ( see it at Amazon ). Priced at $89.99, it’s scheduled to arrive on September 15th, coinciding with the game’s launch.
A Controller Scratched by Rage
Functionally, the Marvel’s Wolverine Limited-Edition PS5 DualSense Wireless Controller is a standard PS5 controller. What sets it apart is the design – imagine Wolverine went berserk during a Fortnite match and took his frustrations out on your controller! The three jagged claw marks across the face are a standout feature. The vibrant yellow contrasts beautifully with the black grips and touchpad, creating a truly fierce aesthetic.
The bottom of the controller also features a splash of yellow, mirroring the face buttons and D-pad accents. The left and right grips boast gray scuff marks, adding to the overall “battle damage” effect. It’s undeniably one of the coolest PS5 controller designs we’ve seen – and there have been a lot .
Beyond the Controller: Console Covers and the Adamantium Edition
The Battle Yellow DualSense controller isn’t alone! Sony also released an “Adamantium” white version, featuring the same clawed design but with a more subdued metallic white accenting the black. This variant was initially exclusive to PlayStation Direct, and unfortunately, it has already sold out. Both designs have matching console covers available separately, although some of those have also vanished (the Battle Yellow PS5 slim console cover is still in stock at PS Direct ). While PlayStation Direct might restock before launch, don’t count on it. If you want any of these items, act fast!
