It’s getting very real now, folks! Rockstar Spil has today announced both the download size and the preload date/times for GTA 6 on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, ahead of the full game’s release on November 19th.
Firstly, the download size for GTA 6 is a max of 212GB. Rockstar says that this may change “depending on your device”, but you’ll want to make sure you have at least 212GB of spare storage just in case.
Meanwhile, preloading begins for Xbox Series X|S on November 10th at 12am GMT.
Here’s a full list of preload times for each region:
- North America: 4pm (Mon) PST / 5pm (Mon) MST / 6pm (Mon) CST / 7pm (Mon) EST
- UK/Ire: 12am GMT
- Europe: 1am CET / 2am EET
- Asia/Oceania: 9am JST / 8am AWST / 11am AEDT
- Your Local Time:
In addition to this, the release time for GTA 6 has been confirmed as “midnight local time” on November 19th, which means some people will be getting access to it earlier than others depending on where in the world they reside.
Another last little bit of new information today is that a poster of the GTA 6 artwork and map will be made available to download for free at launch, or you’ll be able to buy a physical version for $0.99 if you prefer.
So, there we go! The key details are now in place, and we’ll be able to preload GTA 6 in just one week!
