We are thrilled to reveal that Ghost of Yōtei will receive a wave of fresh content. On October 2, the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition will debut a new narrative expansion, a single‑player combat survival mode, and a suite of quality‑of‑life improvements.

Before we dive deeper, we’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible year that has passed since Ghost of Yōtei’s launch. Our community has been nothing short of extraordinary—fan art, cosplay, virtual photography, combat montages, Twitch streams, and even Jubei‑themed content have all inspired us. The Complete Edition arrives precisely on our one‑year anniversary, and we’re eager to welcome another year of creativity from you all.

Over the next few weeks we’ll unveil even more details, but for now we’re excited to offer a sneak peek at the upcoming additions in the Complete Edition.

The new narrative expansion, titled Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara, will weave together present‑day adventures and flashbacks to Atsu’s mainland days. Players will encounter Nagato—a figure from Atsu’s past who has surfaced in Ezo—explore a previously unseen valley once home to The Snake and his Viper gang, and relive Atsu’s role in the Battle of Sekigahara. Alongside fresh enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, dyes, and more, the expansion promises to deepen the story and gameplay.

Beyond the previously announced additions, the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition enriches the experience with fresh musical tracks for Watanabe Mode, which will play throughout the entire game whenever the mode is activated. Players will also find new photo‑mode stamps, extra cosmetics for New Game+, and a suite of trophies celebrating both Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted.
