Scheduled to launch in Spring 2027, Final Fantasy VII: Revelation promises to conclude Cloud Strife’s epic journey to protect Gaia from impending doom. While we’ve seen glimpses of submarine combat, exhilarating traversal via the iconic Highwind airship, and a peek at the new FITS system, none of these initially suggested a Mature rating. However, the pending “Mature 17+” classification on the game’s Xbox page has ignited a firestorm of discussion.
