With New York Comic Con 2026 underway and a new Daredevil series on the horizon, Charlie Cox is among the Marvel-connected actors making appearances ahead of Avengers: Doomsday. But it was not his superhero work that drew attention at the convention. The Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 voice actor teased a mystery Sega game for which he has already recorded a large amount of dialogue.
Cox, who earlier this year said he would take on more gaming projects after his award-winning turn in last year’s RPG, confirmed at NYCC that he was working on an as-yet-unannounced role. Speaking to bağlantı”>IGN, the actor described a major part that required him to adopt an American accent with little prior preparation.
“I had to do 40 hours or whatever it was, and I showed up for the first day, and I was like, ‘Hi guys, nice to meet you! How are you,’ he recalled. “And all of them went, ‘…oh, he’s English.’ They’d wanted him to be American. But now I’ve got to do 40 hours of lines I’ve not prepared in an accent.”

The exchange was captured on video at the event and shared by bağlantı”>#NYCC, with the original post appearing on October 9, 2026.
Even with so few details available, bağlantı”>fans on social media have already begun to speculate. The leading guess among many is Persona 6, given the demand for extensive dialogue and Atlus’s recent official teases over the summer. Others noted that the project may not even be announced yet, with Cox saying the game “doesn’t have a name yet.”
Cox won multiple awards for his debut gaming role as Gustave in Expedition 33. Whether or not he returns to another major title remains unclear.
