Capcom has released a sales update covering its best-selling titles as part of its second-quarter results for fiscal year 2026. The publisher’s performance follows familiar patterns: legacy titles continue to sell strongly, while Capcom’s newer releases are also doing well.
Among its three biggest 2026 releases, Resident Evil Requiem has now sold 8.51 million copies, Pragmata has reached 2.73 million units, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword has achieved 1.78 million sales after nearly two months on the market.
This means that during the second quarter of the current fiscal year, Requiem sold a further 450,000 units, while Pragmata added 229,000 copies to its lifetime sales total.

Elsewhere on the chart, Capcom’s older titles continue to impress. Resident Evil 4 was the publisher’s second-best-selling game of the quarter, with 1.1 million copies sold. Resident Evil 2 managed 640,000 units, Devil May Cry 5 sold 540,000 units, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard shifted a further 460,000 copies.
The only failure is Monster Hunter Wilds; it was outsold by 2018’s Monster Hunter World in Q2 — which is why it does not even appear on the table above.
With today’s sales totals added on, the Resident Evil series has now cumulatively sold 218 million units, the Monster Hunter franchise has sold 132 million copies, and Street Fighter sits at 60 million sales.
Capcom then looked ahead to its 2027 releases, highlighting Mega Man: Dual Override, the Ascendance expansion to Monster Hunter Wilds, and Resident Evil Veronica.
