In the sprawling world of Blood of Dawnwalker, reacquiring legendary weapons is often key to overcoming formidable challenges. One such quest, “Forge It Anew,” tasks you with reforging St. Mihai’s Silver Sword, a potent weapon against the undead. This guide will walk you through each step, from locating the scattered sword shards to finding the Uriashi blacksmith who can restore this iconic blade. Get ready to delve into the heart of Vale Sangora and uncover the secrets needed to wield St. Mihai’s Silver Sword once more.

Finding the Sword Shards

The quest “Forge It Anew” begins with locating three scattered sword shards, each guarded by Kobold nests throughout Vale Sangora. Prepare for combat as you navigate these treacherous locations and claim the fragments of a legendary weapon.

First Sword Shard Location

The first shard awaits in the northeast corner of the Maragir Wealds, just north of the Upper Maragir Wealds shrine and across the river. Follow a visible trail leading into a Kobold den. Inside, dispatch the enemies and retrieve the shard from a broken cross. Examine the cave painting map to reveal quest markers for the remaining shard locations.

Second Sword Shard Location

The second shard is located north of the Rockfalls region, east over the mountains from the Westridge Outpost shrine (though accessible from the east through the forest). It’s also southwest from the Giant’s Pawns shrine. You’ll encounter a Kobold nest marked with a white X above the entrance. Inside, you’re up against Munch-Munch, a boss who inflicts poison damage on hit. Defeat him to claim the shard and consult the map for the location of the final piece.

Third Sword Shard Location

The final sword shard is found south of St. Tyna’s Grove, southeast from the Crossroads Inn where you initially meet Anca for a related quest. Head south from the Crossroads Inn shrine, take the left road up into the hills to find another Kobold nest. This triggers the “Forge It Anew: Executive Order” quest. Follow the marker west into The Silts, defeat the enemies guarding it, and retrieve the final shard from a small chest in the main tent.

Finding the Uriashi Blacksmith

With all three shards secured, you need to find a blacksmith capable of reforging St. Mihai’s Silver Sword. This is where the Uriashi Hermitage comes into play.

Head northwest towards Briar Sloughs, navigating through the forest and up the hill to locate the Uriashi Hermitage shrine. You’re looking for a large standing stone in the middle of a circle, where you’ll find a lone hornless Uriashi willing to reforge the sword. Speak to her to initiate the reforging process.

The final step involves heading up the hill into an ancient ruin, defeating a few enemies, and quenching St. Mihai’s Sword in a rather cursed-looking red orb of magic. This imbues the sword with power, granting you the legendary Imbued Sword of St. Mihai. It boasts an extremely effective weapon art that changes depending on whether it’s day or night – a unique feature that adds another layer to its versatility.
