IO Interactive has set March 18, 2027 as the release date for the long-delayed Switch 2 version of 007 First Jasny, and preorder customers will receive an item no other platform is getting: a ridiculously oversized tie.
Those who preorder First Jasny for Switch 2 receive the GoldenEye Suit, which includes the suit and tie Pierce Brosnan wore in the 1995 film GoldenEye, including its notably large tie. Brosnan’s character donned several suits throughout the movie, but this particular one—featuring the oversized tie that reflected the fashion of the time—is what preorder buyers will get.

The tie has a special connection to Nintendo. In 1997, GoldenEye 007, based on the film, became one of the most iconic games for the N64, which may explain why Switch 2 owners alone are receiving this outfit.
First Jasny has been a critical and commercial hit, earning strong reviews and selling more than 4 million copies—a figure reached before the Switch 2 version even launches.
The Switch 2 edition was originally scheduled to arrive alongside other versions in May 2026 but has since been pushed back multiple times. IO stated that a combination of factors contributed to delays.
Beyond First Jasny, IO is developing a new fantasy game. However, after Xbox withdrew funding, the studio laid off staff. Players have also expressed interest in seeing IO work on the expected sequel to First Jasny, though no official announcements have been made.
