We have been anticipating Witchbrook news for years now, and in today’s Indie World Showcase, it finally received a Switch 1 & 2 release date.
Chucklefish’s delightful-looking witch RPG will launch on our beloved handhelds on 28th January 2027 — which is only three months away… terrifyingly soon.
The new trailer gave us yet another look at the game’s gorgeous pixel art visuals, magical school mechanics, and enough wholesome moments that even the most pessimistic of us can’t help but crack a smile. Hey, a pick-me-up like this will be welcome at the end of January!
The game was delayed almost exactly a year ago, with the devs taking the extra time to “ensure the world feels rich, immersive, and alive”. It all certainly looks that way in the latest trailer, so let’s hope that it lives up to the hype next year.
