Once you know where to look, lieutenant towers in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ mode are easy to find, but when you’re tasked with locating and climbing one as part of your initial tasks? That’s where you may need a little help, because DMZ introduces a lot of new features never seen before in a Call of Duty game.

If you’ve just booted up DMZ and you’re wondering where to find lieutenant tower locations in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, here’s everything you need to know.

Unlike dynamic op phones, there are just five lieutenant tower locations in DMZ, and they’re fixed, which means they’re in the same spot every time. The map above shows the location of all five. In-game, you can see the locations by opening your map and looking for the orangey-brown icons that look like a radio tower with a skull icon on top.
Here are the five locations, along with their respective grid square:
- South of Deadtown (B7)
- East of the 14th Political Prison (E3)
- Northwest of Wolves Stadium (G4)
- East of Cheongun Village (F7)
- East of Hajin River Heights (H8)
Once you find your lieutenant tower of choice, climb up using the ladders, then interact with the terminal at the top to complete the “Hunter” order in the first section of the “Human Intel” chapter. This will show you the location of the nearest lieutenant, but thankfully, you don’t need to go and fight them if you don’t want to. Every time you want to take on a lieutenant, head to one of these towers first to find the nearest one, rather than searching for ages.
