A World Transformed: New Maps and Locations
Chapter 7 Season 4 introduces three major new Points of Interest (POIs) to the Fortnite island, along with a host of smaller, hidden locations just waiting to be discovered. Keep an eye out for the iconic Green Hill Zone, Reality’s Reign, and Stone Sanctum! Remember that some minor POIs won’t appear on the map initially, so exploration is key to uncovering all the secrets this season holds.
Arm Yourself for Battle: New Weapons and Items
The weapon pool has been completely revamped! At launch, you’re getting two brand new weapons: Midas’ Masterpiece, a powerful pistol that can eliminate foes with a single headshot (but beware of limited ammo!), and the 8-Bit Shotgun, a gamified automatic shotgun featuring its own scoreboard. Rack up damage and perform trick shots to earn points and unlock special effects! Finally, four new gizmos are available from the start of the season: Cheat Code Locator, Extraction Accelerator, Llama Supply Drop, and Spicy Taco for a healing boost and stamina party with your squad!
Override Your Expectations: New Gameplay Mechanics
Chapter 7 Season 4 introduces “Overrides,” game-changing mechanics that can dramatically alter your gameplay experience. Keep an eye out for “cheat codes,” glitched walls adorned with arrow keys. Inputting the correct code will reward you with a free Sprite. Speaking of Sprites, they’re back! However, these are brand new sprites from Chapter 7 Season 3. You can also use Sprite dust on loot hacks to add new items to your loot pool and increase their drop rate from chests.
For those seeking an extra layer of customization, the “admin panel” button in the top right corner allows you to insert lobby hack codes for rewards like XP, sprites, and cosmetics.
