Lego Batman: The Legacy of the Dark Knight WayneTech Caches are another collectible item that can be found in main missions and freely roaming Gotham. Collecting these caches is valuable because they contain chips that upgrade your gadgets in the Batcave.

With that in mind, here is our guide to the WayneTech Cache locations currently in the preparation phase for Lego Batman: The Legacy of the Dark Knight.

Warning: This page may contain story and location spoilers, you have been warned.

Below you will find the walkthrough guide for all WayneTech Cache locations in the main story missions that are still in preparation. This does not cover caches that can be found freely roaming various parts of Gotham – the following only appear in the relevant main mission.

There are five WayneTech Caches in the Iceberg Lounge. You can collect all of them during the “Carmine Falcone” mission.

Analysis: The ability to gather all five caches in a single mission provides players with a critical opportunity to shorten mission time and accelerate equipment upgrades.

After leaving the vent, the first cache will be on the left side of the Security Room (this is where you learn to disable security cameras with Batarangs).

After preparing Falcone’s food, enter the next room and head left. You should see the “Sha‑Kham Island” sign above a large door. Pass through the vent on the left of that door and you will find the WayneTech Cache hidden behind a closed wall.

To reach the cache, use Jim Gordon’s Foam Weapon to seize the equipment mechanism on the right. Then go to the exposed socket that appears and take it. Attach it to the socket next to the door (the mechanism is very close) and install it.

After making the connection, switch to Batman and break the mechanism again to clear the foam. When the mechanism starts working, the door will open and you can collect the cache.

There are five WayneTech Caches on the Ace Chemicals map; they can be collected during the “The Red Hood Gang” main mission.

After defeating the Guardian, take the key and go down the elevator, then turn around until you see a column.

Climb that column and then jump a little higher to the next edge. Move toward the green arrow on the left wall and slide through the gap. Don’t fall into the chemicals!

At the point where you need to follow the bears, continue forward along the main path and reach a set of doors. At this point, turn back, look left; you will see the beam from the ceiling extending toward the corner.
