•For a limited time, Walmart is selling the ABS Cyclone Aqua gaming PC, equipped with a GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card, for $849 shipped. According to a report by Eric Song for IGN, despite its low price this PC outperforms the more expensive Steam Machine and delivers consistent 60fps in most games at 1080p.
The ABS Cyclone gaming PC features an Intel Core 5 Processor 120, GeForce RTX 5060 GPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core 5 120 CPU is a 6-core, 12-thread processor with a max boost clock of 4.5GHz.
The system uses DDR4 rather than DDR5 memory. While you won’t notice any performance difference during gaming, the source notes that upgrading to DDR5 RAM would require replacing both the motherboard and processor.
The RTX 5060 outperforms its predecessor, the RTX 4060, by about 20%-30%, according to IGN’s report — and that figure comes before factoring in DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation. The source describes it as a solid budget option for 1080p gaming capable of delivering consistent 60fps+ from most games.
For higher resolutions such as 1440p or 4K, the report recommends upgrading to an RTX 5060 Ti (16GB) or better.
The article compares the deal against $1,049 Steam Machine, which it describes as equipped with a very low wattage CPU and a custom GPU equivalent to the Radeon RX 7600 or GeForce RTX 4060. IGN estimates at least a 20%-30% performance advantage for an RTX 5060-equipped rig, adding that the ABS Cyclone costing $200 less makes the comparison moot.
