Apologies for the delay in our Game of the Month poll for May 2026; the summer gaming events have been quite the distraction, leaving little room for debate. However, now that the excitement has subsided, it’s time to reflect on the month of May and determine which PS5 release truly deserves the title of Game of the Month. May may not have been a month overflowing with releases, but it did boast a couple of notable titles such as 007 First Light and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. These two blockbusters (the pun is intended) were accompanied by a few smaller releases that received high critical acclaim.
