Virgin Media offering $891 to play GTA 6
According to Virgin Media Ireland’s competition page, the selected applicant will receive €100 per hour, approximately $111 USD, for eight hours of gameplay. That works out to a total payment of €800, or approximately $891 USD, based on exchange rates as of October 27, 2026.
The company will also cover the cost of GTA 6, meaning the winner won’t need to purchase the game themselves.
Rather than requiring the winner to play for eight consecutive hours, Virgin Media will allow them to split their gameplay across an entire week.
“The job is simple. Play GTA 6 for eight hours at €100 an hour. That is €800 in your pocket for doing the thing you love. We will buy the game and let you split those eight hours across the week however suits.”
