After a week of sweltering heat in the UK, it’s time to turn the temperature down with a fresh edition of What Are You Playing.
While this week’s lineup lacked blockbuster titles, Nintendo delivered a steady stream of exciting updates that kept the fanbase buzzing. The company celebrated its 40th anniversary with a packed stream that unveiled a new entry in the Dragon Quest XI series, offered a tantalising first look at Dragon Quest XII, and surprised everyone with the announcement of a brand‑new Monsters game. In other news, Resident Evil Requiem received a complimentary demo for the Switch 2, Nintendo launched the Pictonico! mobile app, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 was officially revealed for the Switch 2, and the long‑awaited Donkey Kong 64 finally made its debut as a Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) title.
In our review segment, we evaluated Rugrats: Retro Rewind Collection (4/10), Mina The Hollower (9/10), and Pictonico (8/10).
