Three Xbox Game Pass Release Dates Announced During October’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase

That concludes the latest edition of Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase, and as is customary with these indie presentations, several Xbox Game Pass titles were announced.

Witchbrook is a “spellbinding witch life-sim” that has drawn attention for years. First revealed in 2018, a release date always seemed just out of reach. Today, however, players can finally be reassured that it is heading to Xbox Game Pass in January.

Another confirmed Xbox Game Pass launch is Tanuki: Pon’s Summer, which has secured a release date a little closer, arriving a few days before GTA 6. Watch out, Rockstar—Tanuki could well draw away part of your playerbase.

The third reveal is somewhat more complicated. In August, Dumpster Gang was announced as a day-one release for PC Game Pass, arriving as early as December 3rd. The game has now been given a console release in March 2027.

Dumpster Gang Console Announcement (March 2027)

Well, there you have it, folks! Confirmed release dates for various upcoming Xbox Game Pass titles. Before the show, we were already aware of all three games, and also that they were lined up as day one launch titles for Game Pass. Dumpster Gang’s PC debut in December was the only solid date we knew of, but at least now we know when they’re all coming to console. Hooray for release dates!
