In what could be the ultimate smokescreen for a bigger reveal, CD Projekt has announced that a special tenth anniversary live stream for their Blood and Wine expansion for The Witcher 3, amid rumours of a new expansion.
If reports are accurate, the rumoured expansion, reportedly being developed by Fool’s Theory, the same studio hard at work remaking the first Witcher game, would serve to bridge the narrative gap between The Witcher 3 and its upcoming successor, The Witcher IV, which’ll see Ciri step up as the main, titular monster hunter.
Join us on May 28th at 5 PM CEST for a special anniversary stream of The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine. Together with Kacper Niepokólczycki and Magdalena Zych, we’ll return once more to the land of knights, vineyards, and vampires!
The highly anticipated livestream is slated for May 28 at 5 PM Central European Summer Time, which converts to 11 AM Australian Eastern Standard Time for our viewers down under.
While the exact timing is set, the true measure of the event’s impact will only become clear as the day unfolds. Fans will be watching to see if this marks a fitting farewell for one of the last generation’s most iconic role‑playing titles.
