In case you weren’t aware, a new Sonic game is coming to PS5 very soon indeed, though it’s not quite what you’d expect.
Sonic Pico Park was announced earlier this year as part of the series’ 35th anniversary celebrations, and it’s now just a few weeks away, launching on 12th November 2026.
Pico Park is a pre-existing indie game series that tasks players with working together to get through puzzle-platforming stages. This is basically another Pico Park game, only it features numerous Sonic characters.
The co-op action supports up to four local players or eight online players, and it looks like a good laugh.
If you’re interested, the Trophy list is rather small in stature, just like the game itself.
Over on PSNProfiles, the list has been made public ahead of launch, and unfortunately it won’t feature a platinum Trophy.
What it does have are 20 Trophies in all — 12 bronze, seven silver, and one gold — nearly all of which are awarded for clearing each World’s levels. There are also some endless scroller levels you’ll need to reach certain scores in, but yeah, this is a very straightforward list.
There you have it, anyway. Sonic Pico Park is out soon — will you be playing? Tell us in the comments section below.
