Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for bağlantı”>Tekken 8, primarily focused on the character Roger, but it also offered a brief glimpse at Yujiro Hanma, the notoriously muscular fighter from the Baki anime and manga franchise.
The short teaser highlights Hanma’s signature wide grin and his extraordinary flexibility. While no release date has been confirmed for when he will join the game, Bandai Namco listed him as arriving during the winter season and said a dedicated Tekken 8 trailer for the character will debut at the Tekken World Tour Finals on January 17.

Hanma is described as the most powerful fighter within the Baki universe, an almost unbeatable figure whose feats defy physics. Unlike other characters in the series who operate within more conventional limits, Hanma has become a breakout star due to the sheer scale of his accomplishments, which reportedly include having US presidents swear loyalty to him and stopping an earthquake with a single punch.
The Tekken 8 character model is built to capture his massive physique. The game was developed in bağlantı”>Unreal Engine 5, allowing developers to render highly realistic human anatomy in real time. According to the source, the team doubled the digital bone structure from each character compared to Tekken 7 and added a system that automatically triggers auxiliary bones to produce realistic muscle movement based on positioning.
The engine also incorporates dynamic muscle striations, bulging veins, and sweat effects into each character, along with a dual-mesh system designed to prevent clothing clipping. This technology provides an opportunity to showcase Hanma’s physique in detail.
Since its launch, Tekken 8 has added multiple fighters to its roster, including bağlantı”>several new and familiar characters, a return of bağlantı”>Heihachi Mishima, Anna, and bağlantı”>Final Fantasy 16’s Clive Rosfield.
The game has faced recent criticism from the community over balance updates that removed defensive options and aggressive monetization decisions. Additionally, long-time Tekken development chief Katsuhiro Harada bağlantı”>left Bandai Namco late last year and subsequently established a new studio at SNK.
