What’s that? Your backlog is already looking too long and you haven’t even added Zelda: Ocarina of Time to it yet? Tough luck! An Indie World Showcase is right around the corner and you know we’re going to leave with our wishlists sufficiently beefed up.

The big show kicks off tomorrow (28th October) at 2pm GMT / 3pm CET / 7am PT / 10am ET, and while it only stands at around 15 minutes in length, we’re sure there will be plenty of indie goodness to revel in.

The hype train is already preparing to leave the station for us at Nintendo Life. There are a few titles that we are very much hoping to see crop up tomorrow, and so, below, you’ll find our Indie World predictions.

We’ve tried to keep things reasonably realistic (there’s only 15 minutes to fill, after all), but there are a couple of bigger wishes in there too — hey, we can dream!

Have a read through all the titles we’re hoping to see tomorrow and then take to the comments to let us know your IW hopes and dreams.

Ebb and Flow (Jim Norman, Features Editor)

I have two words for you: Esoteric Ebb. My fingers have been crossed for this one ever since I first locked eyes on it earlier this year, and it feels like it would be a perfect fit for Switch. Heck, I’ve been intentionally holding off playing it elsewhere in the hope that it’ll one day come my way. So… please?

Elsewhere, it feels about time we get a firm release date for Witchbrook, and I haven’t forgotten about D-Pad Studios’ Vikings on Trampolines, either. With so many ‘viral’ indies making their way to Switch these days, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Baby Steps wobble across too.

You know what, let me throw out a prayer for Signet City and Apple Crumble, too. These come from the studios behind two of my very favourite indies in recent years — Citizen Sleeper’s Jump Over the Age and Duck Detective’s Happy Broccoli Spil, respectively — and I would positively love to see a Switch confirmation for them both.

What on Urth? Jim took my first pick! Yes, I also hope that Esoteric Ebb comes to the Switch 2, as no doubt Raw Fury also has a few games up its sleeve. Cassette Beasts 2002 could be one of them, with a firm release date rather than just ‘March 2027’.

As a certified indie gal, there are a few more games on my list of hopes and dreams. With the release of Peak last week, I’m hoping for R.E.P.O! I had a lot of fun last year playing it on PC with friends, so why not shadow drop during spooky season? The next Stardew Valley update was announced not that long ago, so I’d also like a date for that and more information on The Haunted Chocolatier. I know it’s announced for PC, but perhaps a release date with Switch 2 included?

What do you hope to see in tomorrow’s showcase? Let us know your predictions in the comments below.
