Strange Scaffold — the developer behind Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown, El Paso, Elsewhere, Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator and more — announced last month that it was bringing its super slick FPS I Am Your Beast to Switch 1 and 2. Well, what do you know, it’s available right now!

The game launched on the eShop yesterday (20th October), where it can now be found for $19.99. There’s no sign of a listing on the EU storefront at the time of writing, but we’re sure it won’t be far behind.

I Am Your Beast initially launched in 2024, and it’s a super satisfying-looking revenge shooter that sees you getting revenge on the Covert Operations Initiative that kept dragging your grizzled hero back in for ‘one more job’. How you choose to take out these baddies is up to you, but looking at the trailer, whichever approach you take will be sufficiently badass.

Here’s a brief rundown of the game’s key features and a handful of screenshots:

– Lightning-fast “he’s-in-the-walls” player fantasy, complete with superhuman tree climbing and head explosions.
– Fully voiced story campaign with 20+ levels.
– Lush comic book-inspired art style.
– Chase side objectives while getting the fastest times possible in replayable micro-sandboxes.
– Wield pistols, sniper rifles, bear traps, and more.
– Heart-slamming soundtrack from award-winning composer RJ Lake (Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, Unbeatable, El Paso, Elsewhere).
– Innovative “kinetic typography” cutscene system.

I Am Your Beast pulled in a bunch of Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam at launch, so we’re excited to see whether it lives up to the hype on Switch, too. Damn, what a month for game releases.
