While some talents offer straightforward advantages, others require careful planning and coordination with your team.

Here’s a rundown of all the available talents:

• This Operator’s ranged and melee attacks deal +2 damage to elite and boss enemies. A solid choice for any operator focused on taking down high-value targets.
• This operator gains 1 stack of evasion (next attack is evaded). Once per turn. A powerful defensive ability that can save your operators from devastating blows.
• Applies 1 stack of vicious (next attack is a crit) to this operator. Once per combat. Guarantees critical hits, maximizing damage output.
• Taunts the selected enemy. Once per turn. Forces enemies to focus their attacks on the taunting operator, protecting your more vulnerable units.
• This operator gains a bonus +5 health and +1 defense. A straightforward stat boost that improves survivability.
• Earn an additional +150 credits when this operator completes a combat mission. Does not stack. Provides a steady income stream, crucial for upgrading your base and recruiting new operators.
• Trigger an explosive object on the battlefield to detonate, immediately affecting any units nearby. Once per combat. A tactical nuke that can decimate enemy formations.
• Earn an additional +5 intel rewards when this operator completes a combat mission. Does not stack. Provides valuable intelligence for unlocking new recruits and upgrades.
• Applies 1 stack of invulnerable (prevents all damage from next attack) to the operator. Equipping this ability also increases health by +2. Once per turn. A powerful defensive ability that can completely negate incoming damage.
• Increases defense by +2 while this operator is injured. Provides a significant boost to survivability when an operator is already taking damage.

Personally, I’ve found that A Life of Labor, Anticipation, and Grit are consistently strong choices for almost any class. A Life of Labor provides a general stat boost that benefits everyone, while Anticipation is arguably one of the most powerful defensive abilities in the game, allowing you to dodge up to three attacks per turn at its highest level. Grit also offers excellent survivability.

Remember to consider the synergies between talents and classes when building your team. For example, Heavy operators benefit greatly from Taunt, Anticipation, or Grit, as these talents allow them to better withstand enemy attacks. Sharpshooters can combine Cold-Blooded with their guaranteed hit ability for devastating single-target damage.
