Peppermint Patty is a fictional character from Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts comic strip, appearing in games and media tied to the franchise.
Definition
Peppermint Patty is a fictional character created by Charles M. Schulz for the Peanuts comic strip, first appearing on August 22, 1966. Her full name, Patricia Reichardt, is used very rarely in the strip. She lives across town from Charlie Brown and his school friends, has freckles and "mousy-blah" hair, and generally displays tomboy characteristics.
Context
Peppermint Patty is often confused with an earlier character named Patty. She made her animated debut the year after her comic introduction in the TV special You're in Love, Charlie Brown, where she began coaching a baseball team that played against Charlie Brown's team and later had other adventures with him. Uniquely among characters, she addresses Charlie Brown and Lucy as "Chuck" and "Lucille", respectively, and in most of her appearances she is attracted to Charlie Brown.
