Setting
The game takes place in the same world as Fire Emblem: Three Houses (2019), set within the Dagdan Empire. The player controls four warriors competing in the Heroic Giochi to gain their heart's desire, alongside a hero chosen by the progenitor god Sothis to survive against the demon god Balor.
Gameplay
Fortune's Weave features turn-based combat. Battles are completed in two modes: arena combat on a traditional grid-based system, and missions beyond the Dagdan capital that use a party-based combat system.
