Sony has confirmed that its newly revamped PlayStation Pulse headset will launch alongside Rockstar’s highly anticipated GTA 6 on 19th November, offering an upgraded audio experience for the game.

Pre-orders open on PS Direct next week, from 10AM local time on 29th October. The PS Blog also notes that the headset will be available from “participating retailers” — presumably including Amazon, Best Buy and similar outlets.
Priced at $99.99/£89.99/€99.99, the headset is somewhat steep, though roughly in line with what one might expect for a product of this kind.
The headset features PS Link connectivity with compatible devices such as the PS5 and PS Portal, along with general Bluetooth support for other devices. It also includes an integrated mic with AI-powered noise cancelling for communication.
It will be available in standard White or Midnight Black colourways, with pre-orders for both options opening on the aforementioned dates.
A second, pro-tier headset called the Pulse Edge — featuring a detachable boom mic and more accurate planar drivers — is set to release in 2027, though it is expected to cost considerably more.
