Gorsel Kaynagi: Push Square
Having just adjusted the behaviour of its worst enemy and made a baffling puzzle actually solvable, Silent Hill: Townfall is back with yet another round of changes and updates to its overall difficulty.
Update 1.6 is available to download now on PS5, and first and foremost, it adds a hard difficulty mode. The experience already had a tougher difficulty setting in the form of Nightmare Mode, but this new hard mode sits in between that and the normal option.

Hard mode requires “an emphasis on stealth, rewarding patience and careful use of resources,” according to the team.
In addition, balance changes have been implemented across all four difficulty options in Silent Hill: Townfall. Those are:
- Resource adjustment in some sections of the game as part of difficulty balancing.
- Player position now visible on the map in all difficulty modes.
- Enemy hearing sensitivity now varies by difficulty, increasing with the difficulty level.
