Housemarque has rolled out version 1.005.1 of Saros, introducing a robust Photo Mode and a new DLC Trophy Pack to its roguelike shooter. The update is now live and ready for download.
The patch notes detail a fully featured Photo Mode, complete with standard camera controls, lens selection, lighting adjustments, and image editing tools, as well as a range of visual effects and decorative overlays you can apply to your captures.
To incentivise players to explore the new feature, Housemarque has bundled nine additional trophies into a DLC pack that sits alongside the base game.
Existing Platinum Trophy holders will need to revisit the game to unlock the extra trophies if they wish to maintain their 100% completion status—an unexpected twist that even the author admits will require a return to the battlefield.
These new trophies are visible on PSN Profiles and require players to capture specific in‑game locations—such as the entrances to Overlords, Nightmare Gates, and key landmarks across Carcosa—while also photographing five distinct Alpha enemies up close.
