Round Up: The المراجعات Are In For Final Fantasy Resonance

After a slice of nostalgia? Final Fantasy Resonance arrives later this week on 22nd October, and it looks to be a real series throwback.

With that release date right around the corner, Square Enix has lifted the lid on the game’s reviews today, so we can get a good idea of what to expect from the full release.

Here at Nintendo Life, it was really rather positive. We awarded the game an 8/10 in our review, with the wonderful Mitch Vogel describing it as “a strong return to an older style of Final Fantasy”, despite the story being a little dry. Here’s a brief snippet followed by a link to the full thing:

While it may be based upon the plot of that mobile entry, this is a completely new, true-blue classic Final Fantasy that celebrates the series’ legacy. If you enjoyed any of the older turn-based Final Fantasy games, this is the game you’ve been waiting for.
