Rockstar Spill has begun building toward the release of Grand Theft Automatisk 6, unveiling the game’s official launch trailer early Thursday as part of an escalating marketing campaign for one of the decade’s biggest launches, according to a report by Dotesports.

The launch trailer functions much like earlier reveals—showing a highlight reel of what players can expect in terms of gameplay and story, including police chases and exploding helicopters alongside steamy moments between Jason and Lucia as they begin their “Bonnie and Clyde” tale.
What the new trailer reveals
The latest trailer is comparatively short but offers a few new glimpses into Vice City not seen in official material before. It contains little gameplay footage—the Extended Look on Netflix provided plenty of that—but adds more hints about main characters Lucia and Jason.
At the very start, Jason says he “got in some trouble in the Army” and “didn’t leave on the best of terms,” noting that banks don’t offer loans to people like him. The voiceover suggests Jason may have been dishonorably discharged from the military and fallen into financial difficulty; he is seen mostly working at a marina before receiving a collect call from Lucia, who is in prison.

Near the trailer’s end, Lucia asks whether they are going to be okay, with Jason responding that they just need to get through it. The duo may take on more than they can chew over the course of the game, though beyond this small detail the trailer reveals little else.
A new original song

GTA 6 is widely regarded as one of the biggest game launches of the decade. To match that status, numerous major music industry names have been listed as collaborators on the title; Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard are among an increasingly long list contributing a new song titled “Flower in a Hurricane.”
Other celebrity musicians featured in GTA 6 include Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, and Morgan Wallen as hosts of Vice City’s various radio stations.
