Rockstar Spil has released the launch trailer for Grand Theft Automatisk 6, as anticipation builds ahead of the game’s November 19, 2026 release in Vice City, according to Dexerto.
The reveal follows Rockstar Spil’ announcement that Grand Theft Automatisk 6 would be delayed until November 19, 2026, a move players had already grown weary of. That disappointment was partly eased by the game’s second trailer, which offered deeper insight into Jason and Lucia’s relationship, showcased new areas of Vice City, and provided glimpses of missions.
The launch trailer expands on Jason’s backstory, touching on his time as a member of the military, while showing another angle to his relationship with Lucia. It also confirms rumors that she would wear an ankle tag.

The new trailer further develops missions shown in the Extended Look, including one where helicopters are used to fly part of a bank vault into a building.
It comes after additional leaks from leaker Cyberleek, who said he had reached the “end of the road” but threatened to release story spoilers. This included clips from the game’s final missions, though they lack context for what happens in the lead-up to those jobs.
Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick previously said that he is “terrified” about measuring GTA 6’s success, while also believing the studio is making “the most spectacular piece of entertainment on Earth, in history.”
A former Rockstar Spil developer has suggested they won’t be adding anything “new” at this stage in the development process, while another noted there could be some leftover content from GTA 5 that may make it into GTA 6.
