Remedy Entertainment’s new chief executive, Jean‑Charles Gaudechon, has declared the studio a “one‑of‑a‑kind” creative powerhouse that must fully harness the potential of its cult classics, notably Alan Wake and Control.

Under the terms of the new collaboration, Annapurna Pictures will co‑finance and co‑produce the forthcoming title Control Resonant as part of a strategic alliance with Remedy Entertainment, while also working together on television and film adaptations of the Alan Wake and Control universes.

Gaudechon reiterated that the current sales figures for Alan Wake and Control fall short of their true potential, stating that the first priority should be to maximize the value of the existing titles before expanding the lineup. He believes that cross‑media initiatives will be key to unlocking this growth.

Control Resonant is slated to hit the market in 2026, launching across a wide spectrum of platforms. Players will be able to experience the title on Windows PCs through both Steam and the Epic Games Store, while Mac users can download it via Steam or the Apple App Store. Console enthusiasts will also have access, with releases planned for the Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5.
