•Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed on Wednesday the lineup of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for October, headlined by the newest entry in the Mafia series and Horizon Forbidden West. Titles will begin arriving starting Oct. 20.

The additions include Mafia: The Old Country, a prequel set in early 1900s Sicily inspired by the origins of the Sicilian Mafia. Players take on the role of Enzo Favara, who becomes entangled with the Torrisi crime family.
Beyond its crime and shooting elements, Mafia: The Old Country also addresses real-world labor issues and poverty that affected Italians in the early 20th century. “Mafia: The Old Country is a sobering reminder that tough times still create a breeding ground for exploitation today, just as they did in Sicily,” Polygon’s Giovanni Colantonio wrote in his 2025 review.
New Game Catalog games have staggered dates. Mafia: The Old Country will be available on Oct. 20 for US subscribers, with most of the new games joining next week.
