Nine new games are arriving on PS Plus Extra and Premium this month, but how satisfied are you with what’s being offered? That’s exactly what we aim to find out, as always.
Starting with Extra, we have what I consider a fairly significant addition for the mid-tier subscription: Mafia: The Old Country.
This latest Mafia entry didn’t exactly set the world on fire in terms of review scores and player reception, but it remains a solid story-driven experience, especially if you’re after something with a bit of grit. It’s not particularly old either, having launched just over a year ago in August 2025.
Horizon Forbidden West comes next, and it’s the heaviest hitter of the group in terms of pedigree. The PlayStation Studios release ended up being somewhat divisive among hardcore fans of the platform, but there’s no doubting its quality as an open-world adventure.
Meanwhile, the new indie shooter Mycopunk looks pretty cool, but in my personal opinion, it’s Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition that truly cements this as a strong month for Extra.
Tales of Arise is a fantastic action JRPG, and this version comes bundled with its meaty Beyond the Dawn expansion, which takes place after the main game’s plot. There’s over 100 hours of anime-infused entertainment to be had here.
Moving on to PS Plus Premium, Dino Crisis 2 simply can’t be ignored, particularly since fans have been begging Capcom for a revival of its once-beloved series. It’s a PS1 classic with some serious… bite.
So, are you hyped for these 9 PS Plus Extra and Premium games? Is this yet another impressive month for Extra, or do you find it a little disappointing? Vote in our polls, and then explain yourself in the comments section below.
