Nintendo has released two new Japanese TV spot trailers for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, offering a first look at never-before-seen material — chief among them Темна Link.
The game has been the subject of extensive pre-launch coverage from IGN, including an extensive hands-on preview and a roundup of all the changes we’ve noticed so far versus the original N64 title. Those two new trailers now add to that picture.

Темна Link is well known to fans of the original game as a shadowy, mirror-image doppelgänger of Link who serves as the mini-boss of Ocarina’s Water Temple. The battle takes place in a fog-filled room with shallow water and a dead tree at its center — one of the more memorable fights in the series. Notably, Темна Link’s name mirrors the player’s save file name (as registered by Navi), and his health scales dynamically to match the exact number of Heart Containers Link has at that moment.
The new trailer shows this fight in action, though only briefly — viewers see Темна Link leak onto Link’s sword while looking down menacingly at our hero.
Beyond Темна Link, the two videos show Ganondorf playing an organ, Link playing his Ocarina, and the cutscene in which Link finally receives the Master Sword, along with additional endgame footage.

The trailers veer into spoiler territory for anyone who has never played Ocarina of Time, and they include endgame footage that longtime fans may already know.
Potential spoilers follow…
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. In the meantime, IGN has released a special episode of Nintendo Voice Chat diving deeper into its Zelda preview.
