Yoshi made a comeback in Yoshi and the Mysterious Book for the Switch 2 last week, and while the title feels playable, players have begun reporting a handful of glitches.
Nintendo has officially addressed the issue through its customer‑support social media channel today, confirming that it is actively investigating a game‑breaking bug that can trigger under specific conditions and halt progress.
The company added that it is compiling update data to fix the problem and will release further details shortly, while also apologizing for any inconvenience caused.
We will keep you posted once an English notice or the official patch notes are made available.
We are actively developing an update to resolve this issue and will notify you as soon as it becomes available.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and trouble this has caused, and ask for your patience.
If you haven’t yet experienced this title, you can now try a hands‑on demo at select Switch 2 kiosks worldwide. The opportunity to test the game in person is a rare treat for fans and a smart move by the publisher to generate buzz before the official launch.
Beyond the demo, we’ve compiled comprehensive written and video reviews that delve into every facet of the mysterious book, while our roundup article offers an even broader perspective on Yoshi’s latest adventure.
