Surprise! Nintendo has dropped a Nintendo Direct presentation to mark Pikmin Day. Yes, that’s right, Pikmin Day.
As of this year, Nintendo officially refers to 1 November as ‘Pikmin Day’ – three ones, like three Pikmin, get it? We don’t, really, but hey, Pikmin!
There’s nothing in the way of game news to report here, with the Direct showcasing another look at Pikmin 4 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Pikmin Bloom and more.
It also gave us our first look at Hello Pikmin, a new series of short films that Nintendo will release monthly, the first of which arrives tomorrow.
Honestly, it’s a bit of a nothing burger, but if you’re as big a Pikmin fan as us, there’s plenty of smiles to be found here. You can watch the full presentation above.
