In line with other gaming giants, Nintendo is set to join the fray at the No-E3 2026. The Japanese company has officially announced that its upcoming Nintendo Direct will air tomorrow, Tuesday, 9th June. According to information provided via the Nintendo Today app, this new presentation will primarily focus on the upcoming games slated for the catalog of both the forthcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and its predecessor, the Nintendo Switch.

Scheduled for 16:00h (Central European Time), the event can be viewed through the company’s official channels, as well as on Vandal’s YouTube channel, where we will provide live coverage with commentary in Spanish. As usual, we will also provide live coverage on our website.

Here is a complete list of viewing times for the Nintendo Direct in major Spanish-speaking countries:

Spain: 16:00h (CEST)
Mexico: 12:00h (CDT)
Argentina: 14:00h (ART)
Chile: 13:00h (CLT)
Colombia: 12:00h (COT)

This event marks the first major Nintendo Direct in the past nine months, following the September 2025 edition. Since then, the Japanese company has been limited to airing smaller and specialized formats, such as Partner Showcases, Indie Worlds, or dedicated presentations for a single title.

Analysis: This move by Nintendo signifies a return to the grandeur of their traditional Direct events, potentially indicating a renewed focus on multi-title announcements and updates. This shift could be a strategic response to the growing competition in the gaming industry, aiming to regain attention and maintain market relevance.

Nintendo has confirmed that the upcoming Direct will run for roughly 50 minutes, spotlighting titles slated for both the current Switch and the forthcoming Switch 2 this year.

Following the main broadcast, the company will launch a live “Nintendo Treehouse” segment, offering extended gameplay sessions of the announced titles for an additional 95 minutes.

While the full roster remains under wraps, fans can anticipate updates on confirmed first‑party releases. Notably, Rhythm Paradise Groove is set for launch on July 2 for the original Switch, and the Switch 2 lineup will feature high‑profile titles such as Star Fox on June 25, Splatoon Raiders on July 23, and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, whose release date is yet to be announced.
