Bandai Namco is running a worldwide survey for Tales of Eternia Remastered that includes a question gauging interest in future remaster games in the series. The survey runs until November 12, 2026 worldwide, and the Tales of Eternia Remastered survey is available in English as well. Upon completing it, players are rewarded with a mobile wallpaper featuring the main characters from Eternia.
To participate, you must own (or answer that you own) Tales of Eternia Remastered. After asking about your experience playing Eternia Remastered, the questions move on to other Tales games you’ve played and which other Tales titles you’d like to see remastered. There is also a question about your favorite game genres.
Tales of Eternia is part of the Tales remaster project. Beyond simply updating the game’s graphics, there are plenty of quality-of-life adjustments, such as making exploration faster and easier. Quest icons now appear on the map, making it harder to miss limited-time quests that become unavailable after certain points in the game.

Tales of Eternia originally came out in 2000, with the English version arriving a year later. When it came out in English, it was released as Tales of Destiny II, even though it has nothing to do with Tales of Destiny and is not the same game as the actual Tales of Destiny 2. Eternia follows Reid Hershel, a laid-back hunter who gets dragged into a grand adventure involving two worlds after the appearance of Meredy, a girl wearing strange clothes and speaking an odd foreign language.
Tales of Eternia Remastered is readily available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch, Switch 2, and Windows PC. You can read the source publisher’s review of it here.
