After 13 years without a new official Eeveelution, fans of the beloved normal-type Pokémon have a compelling new way to feed their obsession. A fan-made remake titled Pokémon Oops! All Eevees has transformed the classic Pokémon FireRed into a world where every single monster has been replaced with an Eeveelution, introducing an astonishing 326 evolutions into the base game. The project, created by an independent developer, arrives at a moment when the community has grown increasingly restless over the species’ neglect.

A World Built Entirely Around Eevee

Despite its playful name, the fan game is far from a one-note gimmick. Every monster in the experience has been swapped for an Eeveelution, but the creator has also introduced a wealth of original Eevee designs throughout the adventure. Players will encounter a ghost-type Eevee called Fanteon, a flying-type creature known as Aeraerieon, and a fighting-type evolution named Aercampeon, among many others. The project is not shy about reusing existing Eeveelution types either, with numerous new designs receiving their own dedicated evolution lines.

The sheer scale of the undertaking is difficult to overstate. A video that quickly speeds through all the available monsters runs nearly 40 minutes, offering a glimpse into the enormous roster. Every existing evolution has been given expanded movesets, and the game is generous with Rare Candies for players who wish to bypass the grind entirely.

Expanding the Eevee Universe

Beyond the massive roster, the game introduces a completely new endgame that its description promises will put a trainer’s knowledge of Eevees to the test. For those who feel that hundreds of new evolutions still fall short, the fan game also includes trainer outfits that let players look like their favorite Eeveelution, complete with a built-in method to evolve themselves. The developer has made clear that the basic game is only the beginning of the journey.

“Surely there aren’t any secret Eevees located anywhere, like under the Truck or in Cerulean Cave.”

Pokémon Oops! All Eevees developer

The developer is planning a substantial update for Nov. 21, known as Eevee Day in Japan, which will add more Pokédex entries and additional overworld sprites. In a separate social media post, the creator teased that the game introduces an “Eevee god” representing every elemental type at once, and confirmed that this powerful entity is not even the final boss.

Looking Ahead

Community reaction has been overwhelmingly positive since the project launched. Players have described Oops! All Eevees as everything they have ever wanted, while others are already creating fan art for the Eevee-themed game. The enthusiasm suggests that this fangame fills a genuine void for a fanbase that has waited over a decade for more.

Until the November update arrives, there is plenty to keep Eevee fans busy. Those interested in diving into the experience can check out Oops! All Eevees on the PokéCommunity forums, where the developer continues to share progress and engage with the eager community.
