Netflix has officially unveiled KPop Demon Hunters: The Immersive Experience, a live, in-person interactive event set to debut at select Netflix House locations. The announcement introduces fans to a new kind of engagement with the hit musical film, described by the streaming giant as “an all-new interactive, music-filled adventure.” Attendees will be given the rare opportunity to step inside the fictional world of HUNTR/X and, most notably, meet the film’s beloved mascot, Derpy Tiger, in person.
The experience is built around the film’s narrative and unfolds in a carefully sequenced format. According to Netflix, the adventure begins backstage with the band Huntr/x just before the opening night of their world tour. The tension then escalates when the film’s main antagonist, Gwi-Ma, attacks the venue, prompting guests to join the group in battling demons through interactive sets, screens, and 3D technology. The storyline is delivered through music and play-based challenges featuring live actors and custom animation, all set to the film’s soundtrack, which includes tracks such as “Golden” and “How It’s Done.”
A World Fans Can Live In
Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, framed the event as a natural extension of the brand’s strategy to deepen fan connection. Speaking about the Netflix House venue, Lee emphasized the desire of the audience to move beyond passive viewing.
Fans don’t just want to watch KPop Demon Hunters, they want to live in the world of HUNTR/X. Netflix House is where fandoms like this get to live year-round, so it’s the perfect home for everything KPop Demon Hunters fans have been asking for. Singing the songs they already know by heart, facing off with demons, hanging out with Derpy Tiger — every detail is built so fans of all ages can feel, hear, and see this world exactly the way they imagined it.

The immersive concept aligns with Netflix’s broader push to transform its physical spaces into experiential destinations. By blending live performance, animation, and interactive technology, the event taps into the film’s massive cultural footprint and its devoted fanbase, which has driven significant engagement since the movie’s release.
Where and When
The event will be available at the Netflix House locations in Dallas and Philadelphia. Ticket sales follow a tiered rollout: MasterCard customers can purchase tickets starting on September 22, with access opening for Netflix members on September 29. The general public can buy tickets beginning October 1.
Pricing is structured across general admission and premium packages. General admission is set at $39, while children’s tickets for ages three to 12 are priced at $34. A VIP package is available for $89 on Monday through Friday and $99 on Friday through Sunday. VIP access grants guests entry to the Netflix VIP lounge, an exclusive themed gift, and priority entry, which is expected to allow them to skip the lines.
Looking Ahead
While the immersive experience offers a near-term celebration of the franchise, Netflix has also signaled continued expansion of the KPop Demon Hunters universe. Earlier this year, the company announced that a sequel film is on the way from directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. Initial reports suggested the film would be ready by 2029, though a Sony Pictures Animation executive later indicated in an interview that this timeline is unlikely, given the lengthy production cycles typical of these projects.
For now, the focus remains on the interactive event, which marks a notable step in Netflix’s effort to extend its storytelling beyond the screen and into physical, shared experiences.
