The world of Baldur’s Gate 3 is already bursting with memorable companions, but dedicated modders are constantly finding new ways to expand the roster. Now, you can recruit Mizora, a character previously limited to specific interactions, as a full-fledged party member thanks to a brand-new mod.
Recruit the Cambion: Mizora Joins Your Adventure

As reported by TheGamer, modder WorldWalker42 has released the “Mizora Joins the Party” mod, fulfilling a request from a Reddit user to transform this intriguing character into a permanent addition to your adventuring group. This allows you to experience her unique perspective and dialogue throughout Act 3 of the game.
The mod introduces Mizora as a recruitable companion after progressing a certain point in Wyll’s questline. Once recruited, she gains her own designated spot at Rivington, Lower City, and Elfsong campsites. She seamlessly integrates with your existing party, offering unique reactions to story events and locations thanks to custom-written dialogue.
“All of Mizora’s ‘new’ dialogue uses repurposed assets from the original game,” WorldWalker42 clarifies in the mod description. “I did not use AI in any way or at any stage of developing this mod. All files were created and edited using the official toolkit or a text editor.” This commitment to preserving the integrity of the original game is commendable.
Beyond her dialogue, Mizora also possesses a unique spell allowing her to transform into a human form, previously unused in the game’s files. She even makes a cameo appearance in the epilogue, with a letter reflecting on the choices your character has made throughout their journey. The mod is designed to be compatible with playthroughs where you play as Wyll and should not interfere with other mods that don’s alter critical dialogue files related to him or his questline.
WorldWalker42 has a proven track record of enhancing the Baldur’s Gate 3 experience, having previously created similar mods for Dame Aylin and Isobel. This latest creation is another testament to the creativity and dedication of the modding community. I, for one, am eagerly anticipating the day when we can recruit that goblin who tries to force you to smear your face with poo – imagine two excrement-painted warriors charging into battle!
The Baldur’s Gate 3 modding scene continues to thrive, offering players endless possibilities to customize their adventures. Check out Magnetuning’s revamp of Wyll’s quest for another excellent example of how mods can enrich the game’s already compelling narrative.
