Hey everyone, long time—this thread had been sitting at 40+ replies and I was about to give up, but I finally got to the bottom of it. I went through basically every suggestion here: disabled background services, lowered DPC latencies, tweaked the NVIDIA power settings, even reinstalled clean with DDU, but my framedrops during intense scenes kept haunting me. In a last-ditch move I went into BIOS and disabled the C-States power saving (C-State limit was on auto) plus turned off theResizable BAR toggling that was fighting with my driver version, and boom—framedrops completely gone. Turns out it was a power-state transition stalling the DPC queue, not the driver at all. Huge thanks for the troubleshooting help, you all saved me from reinstalling Windows like 5 times. Case closed!
